This drawing series originated from an original analysis of the prototypical urban typologies found in the contemporary city, marked--first and foremost--by its dispresed and extended character, defined by its regional connections, flow, and extension. Atlanta has always been defined more by its outward connects. Its rail networks, airport and highways have, both historically and in the contemporary, rendered the city as a nexus of flow.

Form, then, becomes a radical point of stoppage or definition within such landscapes of flow. These studies explore how points of urbanity can be placed and framed within such landscapes of extension.
