This proposal for an inter-faith community center leverages the inherent sense of conflict and tension that results from the interaction of various belief systems. Far from finding resolution and hollow consensus among the world religions, this architecture seeks to--on the one hand--leverage their autonomy and specific forms of knowledge and beliefs while also allowing for the academic collision of thought and more meaningful inter-faith dialogue.

The project represents a case studying in the ongoing to project of representing the dialectic of the autonomous urban object and the extended urban form. In an effort to resist the lucrative homogenization of identities, politics, economics and urban form, the project aims at leveraging the collision of difference and the resultant agency.
